Re: “Strong win for Bach

Bach ran an ugly and dishonest campaign and was elected based on distortions, voter manipulation tactics, and name-calling. These are the very kind of campaign tactics that have been degrading American politics, and therefore American life, since the 1980 presidential elections. This is no way to deal with the citizens of a democracy. Without informed voters, there is no such thing as democracy. I regret that such a fine human being, experienced leader and visionary for shared community good as Richard Skorman is not the new COS mayor. May Mr. Bach turn out to be a more decent and honest, and less brutal and unethical, mayor than he was a candidate and husband.

Re: “Bach stays silent

Thank you for this story. It is important to know--and remember--crucial facts about the persons who seek to represent the people of Colorado Springs at a time when so much is at stake here. A man who beats the woman he should love, attempts a take-over from the father of another woman he should love and squeezes $1,000,000 out of her is not someone I want to represent my interests or would trust to care about me and my concerns. Bach's second wife won't comment on him because she admirably wishes to protect her child by protecting her child's father. In other words, if she did comment we can be sure that it would reflect badly on the violent, controlling and abusive character of Steve Bach. Bach cannot even protect property he owns from foreclosure. I would not trust him to protect anything for me. Certainly not the city of Colorado Springs. Vote for a sane and safe future. Vote Skorman.
