The September 17th program is dedicated to music of Debussy and Rachmaninoff. Debussy invented a brand-new soundscape for the piano, and influenced virtually every composer after him with his Impressionistic style. Debussy’s Preludes, Book 2, performed here in their entirety is a rare live event and is sure to be a magical experience. Rachmaninoff is referred by many as the greatest pianist of the 20th century. His piano compositions, some of the most difficult in the repertoire, span a huge range of emotions with sensuous, romantic melodies and fiery brilliant, passionate virtuosity. Please RSVP
