Pikes Peak Community College's nursing program ranked No. 1 out of 28 schools in the state, in a list compiled by RegisteredNursing.org.

Two-year and four-year colleges are ranked based on first-time test takers' pass rates on the NCLEX-RN exam, required for a nursing license.

With an average pass rate of 98.9 percent, PPCC ranked above Colorado State University-Pueblo (No. 4), University of Northern Colorado (No. 5), University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus (No. 9), and Helen and Arthur E. Johnson Beth-El College of Nursing and Health Sciences at UCCS (No 12).

Pikes Peak Community College offers an Associate of Applied Science in Nursing and is launching a Bachelor of Science in Nursing bridge program, which will allow registered nurses to obtain a bachelor's degree.
