All ages

With aging rockers like the Rolling Stones and Bruce Springsteen dramatically outselling many younger acts, it seems as if rock 'n' roll is ready to rock the baby boomers into their golden years. And this weekend, for the 14th year in a row, Flash Cadillac will "rock this town" with Colorado Springs' professional symphony orchestra. The now-disbanded Colorado Springs Symphony Orchestra began playing with Flash Cadillac under the direction of then-Music Director Christopher Wilkins in 1992, and the folks in the new Colorado Springs Philharmonic felt they couldn't have their inaugural season without a good old-fashioned night of rockin' out to over 20 classic oldies.

Flash Cadillac's career in the rock 'n' roll biz has spanned over 30 years and shows no signs of stopping. From their humble beginnings right here in Colorado Springs, they've gone on to college and club gigs, appearances on American Bandstand and other television shows, and appearances in the movies American Graffiti and Apocalypse Now.

Their acclaimed performances with symphony orchestras throughout the country have given a new definition to what rock 'n' roll can do. Now watchya gonna do?
