Re: “A clique off the old bloc

Watching the stream on Tuesday's meeting I thought I heard Littleton comment to Sallie Clark on something that explained what happened last year on the second and last of the term limits hearings when Glenn and she were trying to get the term limits ballot question, honestly worded, back on the 2011 ballot. I was watching that 2011 hearing at the 9 AM session and the 2PM session too. They were supposed to consider the term limits question at the 9AM hearing, but, lo and behold, it was changed until 2PM. One guy in particular, was livid as he had taken his morning off to speak in favor of the question being on the 2011 ballot but a switcharoo now appears to have been pulled. They changed the hearing to 2PM. Whose the "they"? Based on what Littleton said yesterday, it sounds like Lathen had told the Clerk and Recorder the day before to be prepared with info for a 2PM hearing. In other words, Lathen and/or Hisey and/or Clark were holding back a changed hearing time from Glenn and Littleton so they could stack the deck at the 2PM hearing with people they cherry picked to testify against putting the question on the ballot. Maketa spoke at the 2PM session, I think. Lo and behold, Dennis Hisey's daugther spoke too! And others, to keep it off the 2011 ballot. TV stations were present too--obviously notified to be there at the 2PM hearing. And, I didn't see it, but, I think I was told the TV station broadcast an interview with Lathen or Clark that night with comments that obviously the public wasn't interested in the question being on the ballot in 2011 since no one showed up at 2PM to speak in favor of the 2011 ballot question. That's how they cook the books, I guess. I used to think Clark was the most venal of them all. Now, she has her twin sister idealogue, Amy Lathen. Funny thing is that Sallie Clark is rumored to think she is the only Republican that could beat Merrifield if he runs against her. The way the public is slowly getting informed on Clark's, Lathen's, and Hisey's methods, I'd be saying the only Republican Merrifield could beat would be Clark. Don't recall her. Let Merrifield whoop her instead. Or, support Karen Magistrelli in her race for the Republican nomination against Clark. And, whoever is running as a Republican against Lathen and Hisey in the Republican party, support them. Get rid of all three.
