Reader: You can't cherry pick the law

I take the liberty of combining the issues of homelessness and illegal immigrants because the solution to both is similar. Homeless people are those that circumstances have rendered without shelter, these are not always the vagrants but all vagrants are a problem. Similarly immigrants are not all illegals, but illegal immigrants are a problem. Both of the problem groups exist because of a lack of consistency in applying the law. Vagrancy is against the law because those individuals must then take from producing members of society to exist. Most individuals have an objection to another person's dream financed with their dollars. Illegal immigrants whether grown-ups or children are against the law because as a nation we have defined who our citizens may be. To do otherwise is to give up our sovereignty and support an outsider's dream with our resources. Letting the mentally ill vagrant or the illegal immigrant freedom to wander our country puts us all at risk. The law of the land, like the Bible or the Koran, is an all or nothing proposition. One is either a true believer or not. We can't cherry pick the laws and guidance in our holy books or the statutes in our nation's law that we will enforce or follow and expect to remain an upright person or an admirable nation. If you can't stand behind your religion you can quit going to service, if you can't stand behind your nation's law, you move or better yet, work to change the laws.
