Re: “The campaign for Amendments 60 and 61 and Prop 101 sounds bad, but it may just work

Having done our homework on all three of these measures, we will absolutely be voting NO. They are irresponsible and will leave this state the laughing stock of the Union (we already have some pathetically low spending in key categories like education, preventative health care, and aiding persons with disabilities and poor outcomes as a result). In fact, I am trying to convince my wife to put our house on the market now so we are divested if any one or all of these bombs actually pass. The last thing I want to be invested in is a community/state that is already struggling and will fall apart at the seams if these pass. And no, I don't believe the sky is falling - but I like functioning school districts, maintained roads and bridges, decent E911 service, competitive colleges and universites, hospitals and utilities that can grow and change as needed, parks/trails/open spaces, prisoners actually in prison and not early released because of budget issues, senior housing/care facilities that are safe, etc. These ballot measures, if passed, will damage all of these and more.
