Re: “Two jobs, two salaries for county

I work for the County and in our Dept, all employees are required to sign a form stating we must get Dept. approval/disapproval before taking on a second job elsewhere.
Many of us live in apartments-can't afford a house and some are single mothers trying to survive.
Seems the low paid workers are always treated poorly while the people at the top are treated like a real human being. Another example of inequality in our capitalistic system.

Re: “God, the gunman and Jeanne Assam

REALLY, YOU STILL BELIEVE IN A GOD??!

Reality is that 16 million children starve to painful agonizing death every year, half the world's population lives in desperation on the verge of starvation. All this in spite of the fact that the planet's nature creates plenty of food and material for clothing and shelter for all but self declared religious and Godly men control this wealth of the world and only provide to those with money.
Children are raped and murdered around the world.
You believe there is a God? The only one anyone sees is money, it's even printed on it "In God we trust" and everyone has their price they will do anything for enough money.
What more proof do you need that there is no God??
We need people and leaders to run for elected positions so we can base our world on reality thereby fixing this reality, and people who love. Love does not exist in a word, it is an action, not sitting around praying for someone else to appear and fix things.
Love only exists in equality.
The reality and basic building block for a heaven on earth is we are all equal and one.
All our decisions must be based on what is best for all. We must teach this truth to our children and future generations and that the only things that are wrong is when you intentionally hurt another.
We must bring about a world where everyone is paid equally for an hour labor. This will end inequality and bring about a world where everyone will live like a millionaire where the planet's resources are shared equally and people no longer exist in desperation but will actually live.
We will no longer have the wealthy living in gated communities in mansions while the poor starve in the streets. Our factories will no longer make products that are designed to break in 5 years so you have to keep buying the same products over and over. We will no longer have an energy crisis because the factories can reduce their productions. We will no longer have to work our lives away because there will be plenty for everyone.
