Re: “The campaign for Amendments 60 and 61 and Prop 101 sounds bad, but it may just work

VOTE NO on 60, 61, and 101!!!!

Please take a look at the transparency of the state budget today and decide where you would cut the already slimming budget. Colorado State has developed an opportunity for ordinary citizens to see if they could do a better job balancing the budget @ http://engagedpublic.com/epbudgets/dashboa…. Try this out and then imagine increased cuts. In the 1980's Colorado experienced negative growth when going through recession, thus far we have avoided that problem this recession but who would want to stay on a state if services are cut. It costs money to live in a great community, a great state, and a great nation. I'd rather my tax dollars help friends and neighbors in Colorado.

K-12 education has already been cut nearly 300 million this coming year and higher ed was nearly the same. K-12 education makes up 41% of the state budget-regardless of what the amendment says-it would continue to be cut.

Cuts will effect ALL of Colorado!!! VOTE NO!!!
