Re: “Nathan Larson, pedophile dad from Springs custody case, now running for Congress

I think regardless of political orientation most people can agree that he is one sick person.

Re: “VRBO rental ended in a brutal assault, plus allegations of racism and home invasion. Why isn't the DA pressing charges?

I can't see outside of any evidence beyond that of the he said/she said how DA May could have successfully brought charges. There isn't enough to convict in a criminal court. Turrell and Morris however can look for help from the civil court, and should probably do so.

Re: “Lamborn does not qualify for the ballot, state supreme court rules

That's a not very small knife Stapleton just stuck into the back of Lamborn.

Re: “UPDATE: Doug Lamborn's primary ballot spot in question

As I recall Lamborn almost didn't make the last ballot because he didn't have much support at the county convention. He's not a popular figure here and has only lasted this long because of strong support from the GOP GOB network.

Re: “Lessons from the March for Our Lives

The pile of lies and ignorance that flow from this article are impressive indeed. From the gross exaggeration of numbers of those who participated in the DC march to the slander against the NRA and its members there isn't a single line that wouldn't set off a lie detector. A note to Brandon, lies work better if they're not absolute whoppers.

Re: “Reader: A proposal to stem gun violence without taking away anyone's Second Amendment rights

Hmm, maybe we can do something to make males feel less emasculated? One way or another such a person will find a way to act out against his perceived oppressors. Taking away the "masculinity" of firearms doesn't change the root causes of the problem. That is, if your supposed solution would be effective anyways.

Re: “Starr Kempf statues return to the Springs at the Ent Center for the Arts

I can remember when these were sitting out at the Kempf place. It was always interesting and fun to drive by there.
