Re: “Opponents of the red-flag bill, which would allow guns to be removed from dangerous people, won’t back down

For a law that is supposed to remove firearms from the mentally disturbed, I find no mention of mental health evaluations by professionals. Merely judgement made by law enforcement and jurists. If we're supposed to be confiscating a persons property on the basis of their mental state shouldn't someone trained in that field be involved?

Re: “Reader: Build a new kind of AFA chapel

So persons serving in the military shouldn't have a place to worship that is conveniently on their base? How does that idea not attack the faith of those wearing our nations uniforms? It's a ridiculous idea on the face of it.

Re: “A nation mourns Tree of Life victims while Trump continues to spread hate

And if the President hadn't gone to Pittsburgh, would you be writing a column on how he didn't care about those who were murdered?

Re: “KOAA News5 to change ownership, Colorado Public Radio adds Springs reporter

Just a small correction. KOAA is an NBC affiliate, not CBS.

Re: “Hickenlooper is now officially thinking of running for president

No way will the current Democratic Party select a governor from a "Hick" flyover state as their nominee in 2020.

Re: “Nathan Larson, pedophile dad from Springs custody case, now running for Congress

I think regardless of political orientation most people can agree that he is one sick person.

Re: “VRBO rental ended in a brutal assault, plus allegations of racism and home invasion. Why isn't the DA pressing charges?

I can't see outside of any evidence beyond that of the he said/she said how DA May could have successfully brought charges. There isn't enough to convict in a criminal court. Turrell and Morris however can look for help from the civil court, and should probably do so.
