Re: “Opinion: Vote Yes on 1A

Boy,,, after the check cash fee I will have enough to buy a cheeseburger. For any true guest in mother natures beauty here in Colorado..there shouldn't be a question of where the funds should go....there will always be cheeseburgers...

Re: “Marijuana madness: Denver councilman retracts weed fears; stocks (and prices) rise; and Pueblo drug dealer relaxes

It's so fun reading comments from people that have no idea what they are flapping their gums at. 2-300 a oz is about for the quality the mj flowers that are sold. There will be a never shortage as a main store and is able to purchase from other growers. Maybe you should drive by one of these warehouse grow facility's. This isn't a ma and pop business yet a industry that houses 2 block square indoor growing rooms. You can pay those prices or go on Craigslist and pick up a oz for 160.00 Most side street vendors will even let you sample the product before you buy. Now if have been around and know the industry you can usually pick up a oz of grade A flowers for 60.00 You have to remember that this plant is just like a weed. It takes no rocket science to grow except some good sunlight and soil. A average plant gives roughly 2 lbs of flowers per qrtr year. On top of that you can use the remaining scrap, leaves, trim and stems for edibles, resins and hash. The sole profit off of one pot plant yields about 10,000.00 at legal sales profit. Some of these warehouses house up to 500-1000 plants. As a retired professional/commercial grower I know exactly how much the industry really makes. If there is not a big jump on the economy here in Colorado, something is sure wrong.
