Re: “Region must be proactive on transportation, and here's how to do it

This position requires one with strong administrative skills, not a narcissistic political gadfly.

Re: “UPDATE: John Suthers on short list to replace Comey as FBI director

Mr. Suthers seems particularly well suited to be Mayor of a Victorian Age town - and even though he comes highly recommended by Gardner, would the real world outside of Colorado really find Mr. Suthers as a good fit to play on the National stage?

The President of Council takes over as Mayor with the departure of a sitting Mayor; great wisdom seemed to be in play with council not selecting Mrs. Gaebler to serve as President of Council and thus be first in line to assume a position that takes emotional stability to be effective.

Re: “UPDATE: Tiny House Jamboree to leave Colorado Springs

But Colorado Springs is a "World-Class City"! Certainly should be able to host an eco- friendly type event of this size with ease.

Did the Visitors Convention Bureau, City Economic Development Office, Regional Business Alliance or whatever their name of the week is try to work with you to keep your event in Colorado Springs?

Re: “Lathen resigns from Colorado Springs Forward

Well yes. After all, neither she nor CSF will likely get any calls to manage election campaigns in the near future.

Re: “UPDATE: Gaebler considering bid for Colorado Springs City Council president

I was speaking to the matter of Mrs. Gaebler not having the support on council to be chosen as President. I think it really is a choice between Mr. Bennett and Mr. Skorman. The mayor and chief of staff will be offering deals to entice council members to keep Mr. Bennett as President. They need a 'Yes' man. These decisions are basically made at Plaza of the Rockies!

Re: “UPDATE: Gaebler considering bid for Colorado Springs City Council president

Doesn't it take more than just one vote to be selected as President of Council?
