Re: “One class of landowner would get special treatment under city’s stormwater fees

Do you think voters will approve the stormwater fee in November? A one question, anonymous 'QuikPoll'.

Thank you.

Re: “Gaebler to chair Colorado Municipal League's policy committee

This illustrates a good part of our form of government:
Anybody can run for elected office.

This illustrates a bad part of our form of government:
They do.

Re: “UPDATE: El Paso County GOP worker resigns citing "lack of fundraising"

$158.00 does not seem like a lot of money for the county GOP political group. That will not even buy one prairie dress with bun tie.

Re: “Suthers kicks off Colorado Springs stormwater ballot measure campaign

Mr. Miller:

The voters in the last city council election seemed to have made a strong statement by refusing to elect any of the Colorado Springs Forward - Chamber/EDC - HBA candidates (with Mr. Pico being the one last minute exception) - which indirectly seems to say the public has grown tired of 'Developer Directed Policies'. Yet, the 'new' council appears eager to roll over for the Developer Drafted/Influenced stormwater fee that was brought forth with a host of issues to be resolved AFTER the measure is passed.

Do you think the voters will pass this measure?

Re: “Suthers kicks off Colorado Springs stormwater ballot measure campaign

So is the current city council considered to be a rather weak and feckless city council?

Mr. Miller:

Having been on council and with that experience with the city finances - what are your thoughts that passing this one measure "will solve all the city's financial woes for the next two decades?"
