Re: “Frequently asked questions about Colorado Springs

We have a wide range of nationalities playing pickup soccer here in the springs. In fact it's the most diverse group of people I have ever encountered anywhere.Period. It's awesome. Europeans are probably the least represented, but still a portion of it. Filipino,British,French,German,Haitian,Egypt,Columbia,,Libya,Liberia,Burma,Myanmar,Kenya,Cameroon,Brazil,Jamaica,Tobago,Korea,Congo,Ukraine,Russia,Iran,Cuba...to name a few.

Re: “Reader: Give it to the rich, who cares?

Author falsely assumes tax policy desires are because people "hate the rich" that idea is just childish.

none of the problems listed in this article happen at the local Colorado SPrings pickup matches....get out there and play , experience it 1st hand, rather than watch it on the tube!

Re: “Traffic fine revenue plunges in Springs

When I first moved here, maybe 5 years ago, I was shocked with how many speed-traps there were. Mostly of the revenue generating variety, not of the "dangerous speed vs location" variety. SUrely there must be other ways to improve the economy?

Re: “Coquette to open, Spice Island to close? More food news

....thinking with fairness in mind....IF it was the accountants fault and 'twas money owed to the IRS that wasn't paid, possibly Spice should be selling gift certificates that can be redeemed, take the help/charity now, but pay it back later...in the form of yummy food!
