Re: “Low-income workers just got a raise — which may or may not be a good thing

A living wage is a human right and still in this life time I cannot understand why some resent and refuse that we all exist on this earth together.

The huge profits of an extremely few strangle the many. Complicity, allowing and participating in a socioeconomic system that allows some at the expense of the many warps us all especially if we do nothing.

Business owners small and independent usually struggle and often build "profit sharing" into their structure and these kinds of orientations are creating alternatives and supporting SUNRISE INDUSTRIES. Sunrise Industry's like solar and wind are more obvious in as a Sunrise industry because of energy need. Other Sunrise Industries that reinforce the infra structure think: roads, bridges, coastal ... and other concerns.

Businesses are and can be even more activly supporting "sunrise ideas" and "sunrise industrial growth" that put people to work and observe the concerns of the earth. It is cooperation that creates social ties, culture, art, belief and spirituality and so much more that makes may make us more "civil." We all have responsibility-individually and societally, I am the worse at this; I am working on this.

Those of us who work in the service industries have a right to make a living wage. I support the right of all to a living wage and the resources to support life, education, political participation and more.
