Re: “Emergency siren

Look Professional first I am niether stupid or neglectful of the truth I know exactly where the forest is through the trees, and do know how police departments prioritize calls, I do support the police and fire departments here in the Springs it is a tought job but that is the job they signed up for unfortunatley when we pay police to sit there car with the lights flashing for construction site that is wasteful and you see it far to offen here and you say they need to focus on real crime, I am not worried about your get what you pay for statement I bet you live in Briagate or somewhere like that gated community because it is good for your reality. Dont judge unless you are prepared to be judged I was simpley making a statement. Peace

Re: “Emergency siren

Okay lets stop all the doom and gloom, as it is now I have had my truck broken into and items stolen from my front yard, called CSPD 444-7000 and was told there is nothing we can do call your insurance company but we will take your information over the phone. Raising homeowners propert tax by 200% is just a quick fix for poor money manangement. Further this article just states proposed cuts there is nothing set in stone for these cuts, I currently work in the financial field and what I can tell is the City Manager Penny Culbreth-Graft, in her proposed budget is way off the mark we should have had a proposed budget for 2010 in 2008 and a final approved in the begining of 2009 and this year she should be working on 2012 budget you must plan ahead not penalize the taxpayers for City Council and City Managers poor performance.
