Re: “'Gulf Coast Syndrome'

"Where is all the media on this? Where are the so-called journalists, of which we have more than enough?...."
Investigative and accurate journalism within the corporately owned mainstream media suddenly died on September 12th 2001. Sadly only what the owners and government agencies want you to read, hear or see is published. I beleive true jounalists and editors live in a state of fear knowing that their careers are more secure by publishing only nonsense about celebreties or political articles that are over sanitised to the point where it becomes just another political sound bite.
I hope that true inestigative journalists have found a presence somewhere on the Internet to be heard but alas that ground is retreating under new Internet legislation.
Full marks to the local media outlets who due to their small sphere of influence are still able to get report stories like this.
My sympathies go to all in the Gulf affected by yet another corporate crime against the people. It is a shame the Hague Tribunal differentiates between war and corporate criminals.
