Re: “Reader: Yup ... it's us bad, old Bible-believing Christians...

Insert "slaves" for every time the rev writes "gays." Rest.

Re: “Reader: Lamborn should have a town hall for childish liberals, then another for the adults

Town Halls are a rare opportunity for ALL constituents to dialogue with Lamborn outside of his conservative bubble and without having to pay to attend one his fundraising events (his usual outreach to voters). Helen should stick with his facebook page if she's not interested in the democratic process or hearing other viewpoints.

Re: “Murray is snooping through C4C documents

"The remaining 5 would come from yet to be recruited NGBs and Multi Sports Organizations (MSOs). Given the number of NGBs and MSO’s in the US, these forecasts are certainly reasonable." - Posted by City of Colorado Springs. Details please. Which NGBs and MSOs? Time frame? Given that more NGBs are leaving COS than moving here, the claim "reasonable" is a joke.

Re: “More jobs come to Springs due to Obamacare

Wonder how Doug Lamborn feels about this given that he's voted against Obamacare - not once - but 37 times. Thirty-seven.

Re: “Homeless population growing, survey shows

The reasons for homelessness are not as simple as "They've made a mess of their life." Please note the 755 children reported homeless by two school districts, accounting for 64% of the total 1,171 reported homeless in El Paso County. Yes, there are entire families who are homeless. They were most likely hanging on to the American dream with their fingernails before the recession but lay-offs, lack of employment opportunities, minimum wage stagnation, rising gas, food and other costs, etc. tossed them even further down the economic ladder. Did they mess up their lives or even choose their situation? Bad things CAN happen to good people. A little compassion can go a long way...

Re: “County advised on how to deny birth control

Given that Bremer believes providing birth control coverage is a no-no, of course vasectomies will also be denied coverage. Right? /sarcasm

Re: “Lamborn's other problem

If you spotted Lamborn the "j" and the "b" he would be hard-pressed to come up with the "o". Hmmm, would it be... JOBs? or JABs? Lamborn chose the latter.

He has many problems.
