Re: “Rep. Waller speaks about medical marijuana

Mark, I feel your pain brother, and know that there are plenty of us out there, even us small caregivers, who support your right to be treated as an equal citizen of the United States in ALL AREAS--Once you've made amends to society, you should be allowed to resume your life in a normal way--the dangerous felons don't care if you tell them they can't have guns anyway, they just buy stolen ones--to me, that is scarier than having them on the books as owning a firearm, but that opinion makes too much sense for big government, who is only interested in being sure the Prison lobby has plenty of prisoners in their jails (these companies literally trade their stock based on the number of people they incarcerate, go look it up, it's dispicable, the worst kind of special interest lobby).

Re: “Rep. Waller speaks about medical marijuana

So, to be clear, you don't feel that amendment 20 supports the creation of dispensaries, but you voted yes on HB1284 anyway? More Politician scum saying one thing and doing another, as usual. I personally believe it does allow for dispensing for profit, but I am shocked to hear you voted against what you thought the constitution provides for--that's in direct conflict with your job description, not that politicians actually care why they were elected or anything.
As for barring felons, this is pretty standard practice in America and is atrocious-- has long been used as a tool to take people who have made serious mistakes in their lives, and assure that they remain caught up in the system for life (many paying fees and fines all the while, or working as slave labor for PRIVATE prisons run for profit), or at the bottom of the economic ladder, because they can't find a job--Simply put, it's class warfare, and Republicans and Democrats both LOVE it--
VOTE LIBERTARIAN this year, get this scumbag out of office, and every incumbent scumbag out of office (both parties say different things, but they're politicians of the same stripe, all of them), and let's start over with people who care about the rights of individuals first and foremost a-la-the US Constitution.
HB1284 is another gift to big business at the expense of the individual patients' and individual caregivers' rights--Dispensaries that are happy with the bill obviously don't see the ways it was meant to kill their business rather than regulate it--these guys are seeing dollar signs where they should be seeing caution tape..........
