Re: “Don't have a cow

I live in the Stetson Hills hood and went there this past December after it opened. I wanted lunch and beer. After just looking at the menu, there was nothing that made me want to eat there. The bartender was attentive, short tap beer list. I asked her when was Happy Hour, figuring I could make it a nice spot to stop one the way home sometimes since, it is about 4 blocks from the house. She couldn't and did not bother to find out for me. What really ticked me was that there was some guy walking around who seemed to be a manager or owner talking to a few people, probably his friends who came in. He never approached me and my partner and said hi, or welcome in, is it your first time here. We were ignored - and the place was not packed. I know if I was the manager of a new "neighboorhood" bar, I would greet everyone who came in for the first few months, ask if they lived by and welcome them, etc.

So, I won't go back to this new "neighborhood" bar. I'll stick with Fox and Hound and Rock Bottom or this place called my very own bar in my very own house.

Re: “Catch him if you can

Thanks for sharing our hidden gem over in Stetson Hills with the rest of COS. I guess we can expect that place to close soon!

Re: “Attacking 2C's misconceptions

So who is going to tell us the truth so we can vote justly?

People don't trust the city leaders...not sure how they got elected. Are we supposed to just flush our money away to them?

What is the truth with the Olympic city deal? Why hock the city to keep them? What't the difference between the impact of them leaving and us still not voting for higher property taxes? And who really cares if about the USOC as taxpayers and citizens?

Yes, Bruce is an ass but everyone must admit he isn't just pulling some of this stuff out of his own ass.

Maybe if they informed everyone honestly, showed us a breakdown of where the funds are needed and where it goes, the property owners would vote for the property tax increase without a doubt.

COS is still a young city for all the people are choosing it as their home and they have yet to imbrace the logistics of calling a city home and caring for it as such. That's part of the problem.

Resolve - increase the sales taxes.
