"Hats and Hair: The History and Elegance of African American Women," PPCC's Downtown Studio Campus, student commons, 100 W. Pikes Peak Ave. Dr. Jaki Taggart presents the history of hats from slavery's head rags to today's couture wear and Regina Lewis, M.A. offers a conversation focused on the work and artistry behind African American women's hair.
