Re: “Most voters favor firefighters’ collective bargaining Issue 1

NO on Issue #1 and YES on a candidate who listens to his employers (We The People), who pay elected officials to do a job that benefits the best interests of ALL and who listens to the concerns of his employees in regards to the resources needed to effectively do their job. As for pay, that should always be based on individual merit, not collective bargaining, especially with employees who also work for We The People (taxpayers). Upon vetting the candidates who could be contacted, that candidate would be Dr. John Pitchford I highly encourage all within the electorate to go to his Website and to his public appearances to find out firsthand, without spin from anyone in the media, how he stands on the issues. That's what real vetting is all about, not through the lens of the media, who, in the main, see themselves as the window of reality and the only ones capable of making decisions regarding candidates and issues, and viewing the First Amendment as being intended for the exclusive domain of the press, which seems counter to many in the media whose mantra is equality and inclusiveness. As for polls, take it all with a grain of salt, just vote by whatever principles you might have that are best represented by any given candidate, and ditto on any issues.
