Re: “AFA stirs more religion debate

Really? Is that your rebuttal to my analogous statement regarding an accurate description of what Hitler represented and the similarities with Mr. Weinstein? You showed your ignorance by using an argumentum ad hominem. That means you actually have no intellectual argument: A. You can't say "Germans are Christians". An individual makes a choice toward God and if they elect to "Accept Jesus" as Savior and Lord, that is the Identifier and Qualifier as to whether you are a Christian (according to Jesus) A Christian is an individual, not an ethnic group of people. B. Jesus said you can not hate your neighbor and call yourself His disciple. Therefore, by hating and being a follower of Hitler, you could not by any definition call yourself or identify with Jesus as His follower. C. It is better to speak up now for our freedoms and get involved in protecting our Constitutional rights than to wake up one morning and find that Weinstein and those like him are drunk with his Kool Aid.

Re: “AFA stirs more religion debate

I can't believe that in 2014 a group led by a leader (Mikey Weinstein), who founded the MRFF; an organization that hates a specific group of people - Christians, hopes to oppress a group of people simply because he does not like what they believe. He not only disagrees with Christians (which is his absolute right), but he uses hateful and angry expressions to describe and harass Christians. He actually challenged Dr James Dobson to a fist fight! He seems to me just plain nuts! Also, he voted for himself an unusually high salary for a non profit. All this is posted on Wikipedia under the paragraph titled, "Criticism". The group, "Jews in Green" also challenged Weinstein's claims.
Can we remember a time in history when this happened before: Hitler in the 1920's through 1945, formed the Nazis and spewed hatred for Jews AND Christians and other specifically targeted groups he hated! His first big task was to redefine terms, call evil, "good" and to call "good," evil. I smell an anti-Christian rat in Mr Weinstein. He has tried to redefine terms by calling his organization MRFF (Military Religious Freedom Foundation) an organization for religious freedom but is just the opposite; he is really focused hatefully on stripping away Military personnel's freedoms, IF, they are Evangelical Christians. The MRFF is really an anti-Christian Foundation.

Fortunately we live in a country where we have access to information and we can research truth for ourselves and not blindly listen to, or follow a "Mikey Weinstein". Read the constitution, read Wikipedia - don't take my word for it. All men (military, government leaders, teachers, janitors) have the right to free speech and the freedom of religion AND TO EXPRESS (speaking, written literature displayed etc...)THEIR FAITH, RELIGION without the harassment of others is a constitutional right! As many will agree, this current Administration is chipping away at our beloved United States of America, but today we still have our freedoms under the Constitution and we ought to all protect that right for everyone else - even Mr Weinstein has the right to express his opinion, he just has no right to take my freedoms, or anyone else's away, or by way of manipulation try to strong arm anyone into violating our most fundamental rights that are guaranteed under the Constitution. If we allow a man to tell us who can and cannot express certain beliefs...we are in danger of allowing a Hitler like leader to spew out hatred and try to oppress a group of people.- one day the list of intolerance will broaden and you too will be harassed for what you believe if we allow what amounts to religious bullying by Mr Weinstein. Again, he has a right to his opinion, and can freely express it - but he in no way should be in any position to harass other Military personnel or attempt to strip away others' rights. Our Military with all Americans have the right to express their faith, their religion and their beliefs in the same way atheists do. No more will Americans like myself stand by idle why our fellow Americans are being attacked. I stand on the side of liberty for all. All of the above is my opinion and is based on the truths that I have researched. Please do the same for yourself.
