Interesting hypothesis that Herbert has developed about Lynn Fish, except that in the real world the defendant doesn't have to prove a darn thing. The burden of proof in a criminal case is always with the prosecution. "Prove it (us) wrong" isn't how it works. There's a little thing in the way called the US Constitution. I for one would leave it up to the prosecution to know what it would take to bring a provable case. Spencer and Ranson of all people should know this, or maybe they have forgotten it in their zeal to make money from the Fish family. Spencer and Ranson need to re-familiarize themselves with the "Due Process Clauses" of the Fifth and Fourteenth Amendments.
