Re: “A slippery slope

So...let's get this straight, cscomo. If a school has a Muslim board volunteer, you will automatically assume that he/she is exposing all the children to Muslim doctrine. If a homosexual board volunteer, you will leap to the conclusion that he/she is exposing all the children to homosexuality. If a Jewish board volunteer, you will know without a doubt that he/she is exposing all the children to Jewish doctrine...Oh, you wouldn't think that way would you. That's right, because it is only politically correct to be prejudiced and intolerant of Christians. What in the world gives you the justification to claim that anyone at this fine school is "exposing" any of the children to any type of religious doctrine? That statement is simply not true and is the worst kind of prejudice and religious intolerance. TCA is a public school, not a Christian school, as you term it. You are judging and condeming the school simply based upon the belief system of some of the parents. There was a group that carried the same kind of prejudicial attitudes that you do-they were called Facist Nazis. Be careful when you judge the hearts and intents of men without knowledge. That's called prejudice-you should be ashamed of yourself.

Re: “A slippery slope

As typical, the liberal media is tolerant of everything except Christians. Your presumptions and mis-quotes are the worst kind of religious intolerance. Why not quote the entire sentence from Mast's statement "What is most disturbing to me, is the fact that one must conclude that these parents believed that they had no voice to make their frustrations heard, and so chose to resort to the ways of the world and its media."-I guess that would not have served your agenda. For your information, the word "ministry" does not just pertain to a church or religious setting, but is defined as "An act of service or serving...something that serves an agency"-in this case, a school. Why don't you wait to hear what the Department of Education and D 20 has to say about these incidents and how they were handled before passing pre-judicial judgment against TCA? Or is innocent until proven guilty only reserved for those with liberal ideologies? By the way...Mark Hyatt is Jewish, and so is Ron Mast. But I guess that truth wouldn't matter to you and some of your readers like cscomo, you'll just continue to leap to prejudicial and intolerant conclusions.
