Re: “City, Broadmoor negotiating over portions of the city's water system

When the City's PUBLIC WORKS properties are at stake public discussions and citizen input should take place at the very beginning of the process. The way this city administration works is to first secure a deal and then try to "sell the finalized deal" to the citizens of this community. Public Works property is protected property. Historic Parkland and water resources are the CROWN JEWELS of our communiy's real estate holdings! They can never be replaced once they are "disposed of".

Word has it that the Broadmoor has submitted a WRITTEN CLAIM FOR MILLIONS against the city blaming it for their golf course sliding off the mountain. Now they're currently using that bargaining chip to intimidate the city to "sell, trade, swap, transfer, or dispose of" our valuable water resource.

My take on the sliding golf course is that when the Broadmoor bulldozed the golf course, and tore out all the scrub oaks that bordered each fairway on Broadmoor South golf course, that was the cause of their property sliding down the mountain.

I wonder if the Broadmoor is using the same "environmental expert" they used to support the Sale of Strawberry Field who claimed the City is better off financially by giving away their PUBLIC WORKS property!

Re: “Philip Anschutz's influence knows no bounds

How refreshing to have another voice besides the Monopoly of the Gazette and say disinformation program of the city of Colorado Springs!
