Re: “Star treatment

It's very sad to see a group of disheartened employees turn to, essentially, a tabloid to try to steer an election through trash talk and slandering. There are so many partial truths, perceptions, and some outright fabricated information listed throughout this blog and in the article itself. Lets be honest with ourselves. When we hear information (even partial information), we tend to read more into it (because that's the kind of person "they" are or "that's the kind of thing they would do" or "I know what they were thinking/trying to do - it's this..." Sometimes we even do this based on a statement someone made to us personally (especially when we are having problems with that person already). We make a judgment and pick a side, emphatically defending our position based on our limited knowledge/understanding and then spread it to others. Come on folks, is that really the way we want to handle ourselves just because we don't like someone or feel "wronged" by them in some way?

People need to take responsibility for their OWN actions. Be honest with yourself. Don't make excuses. Don't compare your actions to someone else's. It's irrelevant. Own up and move on. Carrying a grudge against someone will eat you up - take a long look at yourself - have you changed? And this mention of "Karma." Are you really ready for it to take another turn, because you're bringing it back on yourselves. Don't talk about what you don't know first hand to be true.
