"There still are some voices of reason." Seems to me that the writer's take is that you can take on any cause you want and be "reasonable" but take on a Christian cause - and suddenly you've lost your reasonable-ness. It's not "unreasonable" to acknowledge that the "Happy Holidays" in North America are in fact a Christian tradition - a tradition that celebrates the birth of Jesus. As "religious" as it is, it is the "reason for the season". Is it "reasonable" to massage it into something else? Celebrate the Christmas season for what it is: a celebration of the birth of Jesus. Just like respecting Hanukah or Ramadan, it is only reasonable. Taz
