Re: “CSPD officer arrested

and they should take his retirement pension money as well--this would serve to put all law enforcement on notice that if you do wrong you lose everything--better still give him his gun and one bullet to do the right thing--

Re: “City sued over slamdown

police need to be policed and warned that use of force will be scrutinized by their employers-the public and the courts-and that termination as well as municipal and personal fines could ensue, better judgement over retaliation.

Re: “ACLU to represent two men detained by CSPD

legally the subjects had every right to use deadly force on the officers for the violations of their civil rights--the officers in question need to be fired for violations of standard policy , their actions and civil rights violations-undoubtably these young men will pervail in a sizable cash settlement caused by incompetent law officers--police interaction must remain courteous and civil unless provoked by the subjects, its all to common for officers to take violent and demeaning actions then yell stop resisting or say they feared some kind of boogey man. penalties for officers should be severe and should include dismissal, large fines and jail time, obviously the officers lack respect and don't care about their jobs my thought is fire them after a large say 10,000 dollar fine and the civil rights violaor should recieve jail time--how many cases do we need for officers to get the message that filming is legal and should a be respected right..that alone should be grounds for dismissal--

Re: “Palmer Lake bans recreational marijuana

What needs to happen are "good humor trucks" riding around selling MJ throughout the state--no store fronts-no hassles, sell it like Schwans sells food and ice cream--if its legal in the state then towns cannot deny mobile sales--thats restraint of trade--wake up people get'er done.
