The Fever 333 are nothing if not well-connected, which helps explain why the venerable business magazine Forbes recently ran a lengthy interview with the upstart L.A. punk-rap act. Manager Peter Katsis — whose past clients include Jane's Addiction, Smashing Pumpkins and, yes, the Backstreet Boys — is already on-board the Fever train, as are Goldfinger frontman John Feldmann and Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker, who have worked with the band both onstage and in the studio. It also doesn't hurt that the trio, who signed with Roadrunner Records earlier this year, has a solid pedigree: Singer Jason Aalon Butler was in Letlive, while guitarist Stephen Harrison and drummer Aric Improta respectively hail from The Chariot and Night Verses. If you're longing for the kind of adrenaline rush that bands like Rage Against the Machine and the Red Hot Chili Peppers provided when they were playing similarly intimate venues a few decades ago, this may well be the show for you.
