What was best about your college experience? Living with and getting to know people from all different backgrounds and family styles.

What was your favorite hangout? The Loft a downtown pub with a dive pizza place in the basement. The food was greasy, the pitchers were cheap.

What's your best money-saving tip for college? Live with multiple people in small apartments.

Describe your most memorable all-nighter. A group of us did two consecutive all-nighters for an economics final. The professor, though, was mad about not getting rehired and failed everyone in the class.

If you did college over, what would you do differently? Go out of state, and major in education, like my parents urged, instead of business.

What's your advice to incoming freshmen? It's not as hard as it seems. And don't put too much merit in a piece of paper; no matter where you end up job-wise, they'll teach you what you need to know.

What was the best thing about your college experience? Being on the crew team.

What's the secret of a good college social life? Do a lot of extracurricular activities to meet people of similar interests.

Describe your most memorable all-nighter. I only had one, and it was in the last week of my senior year, in Theory of Psychology.

What's your advice to incoming freshmen? Get involved in everything you have even an inkling of interest in. You won't have much chance for that when you're out of school.

Name a good money-saving strategy for college. Avoid the fraternity lifestyle of keeping up with buddies and going out every night.

What was your favorite hangout? My living room.

Describe your most memorable all-nighter. Several times, I pulled all-nighters during finals week and then had to student-teach the next day.

Advice for incoming freshmen? Resist building up debt.
