Tutt Library's The Library at Night, and all of this week's local music

As long as we’re excited about acoustic guitars, why not take a trip back — way back — to Colorado College’s Tutt Library Event Space on Thursday, March 1. This performance, The Library at Night, draws inspiration from Alberto Manguel’s series of essays and takes the listener on a journey through the literary, musical, historical, and, just perhaps, time and space itself. Guitarist Colin McAllister and narrator Steven Hayward will present an eclectic program including medieval, Renaissance-era, Baroque, and Latin American material, including a newly commissioned work from composer Christopher Adler called “Spines.”
