The police officer listed events out of chronological order and did not allow me to give a written statement. My part of the police report amounted to only 3 short sentences. My husband had 2 pages and another 2 in written testimony. He works for the
Arapahoe County Courts and he made sure to tell the police officer. It is one thing for the officer to arrest one person but it is another for the officer to fabricate testimony in order to try to prove a case. It is unfair that I had to go before a judge who relied primarily on the district attorney and a faulty police report. I did not even get to see the police report to be able to adequately address the charges brought against me. I don't understand how people are allowed to be railroaded so easily in America?
