Re: “Gabe From The Future's sound advice

His taste in music actually kind of sucks. When it comes to Metallica those who cared about things more than loudness said take a hike after touring for 4 years on the same album. Losers in music do make money.
Love some of the bands but come on man.
By the way "Heavy Metal" was a derogatory term for the obnoxious music heard by a music critic. But took off with other writers because many, like the critic, didnt have the decency to publish the thoughts and feelings of the musicians at the time. Take Black Sabbath. When rarely asked by american writers what their thoughts where on their music they would respond "hard rock blues".
Yet they were labeled Heavy Metal. A rather stupid term in the face of the bands thoughts.

Re: “Reader: I want to live where people respect each other and the environment

Its been like this for many years. Its a backward state and an even more backward city.
This person is a classic bs whiner who obviously doing nothing to help others than bitch and shop online for fear of being "begged".
I believe his also lying in that "all" of his shopping is not just online.
Also he does not actually describe his encounter with the "bums" as he calls all homeless that now makes him feel the need to now arm himself.
I challenge this outlet/media site to ask this man to work with one of the grpups who provide services/outreach to the homeless, or as he likes to call them "bums" instead of just leaving it as is so there might be less of a chance of someone getting shot and more of a chance that he and this outlet dont look passively on a serious situation going on in this city.
To get at the root of a number of problems rather than just post a readers obvious disdain for the very poor perhaps this outlet could show us in this city some effort to inform the citizens of this community what it knows and what it can fimd out.
The alternative is nothing but a form of sensationalism with no form of editorial input.

Re: “Suthers kicks off Colorado Springs stormwater ballot measure campaign

He made his concern for business over citizens. Again and again. Voting no.

Re: “Recent stunts suggest anti-”alt-left” propaganda campaign just got local

Good work here. As other journalists from area newspapers do read your work hopefully they will be inclined to reach such a level of investigative reporting. Hats off to you!

Re: “Citizens for Safer Neighborhoods wants retail marijuana in the Springs

Your just another newspaper failing the community by not , like every other news outlet hasnt been doing, doing an indepth report on the effects on lives of legalised marijuana. You know the city. Yet you dont truly report on the effects this has had on the city for 3 years. Who knows why but it is a failure on your part
And that sucks for those who have no voice in this city. I like it. But im not oblivious nor deaf to the voices or effects.
This newspaper either does not care or god knows what.
