Going to Church multiple times per week in my experience is a pretty good indicator that someone has something to prove to themselves or others. Some go for pure reasons, but many have different motivations. Responding to the comment above, a True Believer is defined by only one thing. It is not the "free gift of faith" because that is not a gift, it is a decision. It not "faith alone, scripture alone and grace alone." I am pretty sure those are three things. Furthermore, God does not make you a "True Believer," unless you believe in determinism (which very few Christians believe). The one and only thing that makes a person a true believe is an individuals free will. Once that free will is used to choose to believe in Jesus, then you are a "True Believer." Period end of story.
