Re: “Dobson endorses Roy Moore for Senate

"The accusations/allegations against Roy Moore have completely fallen apart."

except that everyone in that town knew they were true for years but did nothing. the cops and mall security guards all knew of his perv-ness (kicked out of an undergarments section of a store... dude). only in the south will this white rapist/assaulter be elected. Alabama don't need no stinkin facts to get in the way of a jebus lovin pervo...

Re: “Dobson endorses Roy Moore for Senate

Unhinged post.

"The accusations/allegations against Roy Moore have completely fallen apart." BOGUS. NONSENSE.

If Roy Moore "walks in the righteousness of Christ" and is being falsely accused, you have to discount the credible reports of his victims. That is, in a word, shameful.

Pedophilia aside, Moore is unqualified for the Senate. He can't/won't take his oath office to support and defend the Constitution. He has already established his rejection of the Constitution. He was removed from office twice for disobeying lawful court orders.

Re: “T.R. Reid is still fighting for universal health care, along with groups across the country

Keeping/bearing arms is Constitutionally protecting by the 2nd amendment. Healthcare has no such protections, either federal or state. "Universal Healthcare" is a socialistic/communistic mindset with no place to lawfully or legally happen on this land of the United States of America. I completely refuse/reject that offer of contract!

Re: “Drake power plant shutdown costs estimated

I've been watching an orchestrated war on the poor/homeless for about 2-decades. The situation with Drake is a large part of that war. Perry Sanders (billionaire) wants Drake eliminated yesterday (reported in the Gazette around 2012). Those in his circles have no problem with a rate increase, or electrical controls that favor the wealthy. I'm beyond wore-out of the wrong folk running things. The increasing dilemma is this is going on nation-wide.
I thank Yahweh/YHVH for judging this system, in the name of Yeshua, Amen!

Re: “Dobson endorses Roy Moore for Senate

The accusations/allegations against Roy Moore have completely fallen apart. The Washington Post (under Bezos) is now backtracking on their report saying it was part of a sting operation (more manure on their part). Gloria Allred's efforts has disintegrated. Folk here despise the righteousness of Yeshua/Jesus, and all within. The reports on the history of Matt Lauer are completely different than the reports on the history of Roy Moore. A man who walks in the righteousness of Christ Yeshua is being falsely accused, and many do not have the discernment of the Holy Spirit to know this factually/truthfully. I pray all reading this have the extremely "hot coals" of conviction of their sin and come to repentance. in the name of Yeshua, Amen!

Re: “Reader: These times call for public transit

The hyperloop will speed things up considerably. However, the hyperloop will be a product of capitalism. Perhaps you can seize it after it is built. Then you can set the price according to your whim and NOT according to market demands.

Re: “A cyclist's appeal to drivers

Right on, Greg Thornton!! My husband and I moved downtown for the joy of being able to use our bikes as transportation, in addition to our long history of recreational riding. We are thrilled to see the progress being made in bike lanes and trails, providing greater safety for cyclists, and smoother sailing for motorists. As I see it, the only thing missing is basic manners. If youre driving a car, watch for cyclists; if youre riding a bike, watch for cars. Simple as that. Bonus points if you smile and wave.

Re: “Stir Coffee & Cocktails’ strengths lie in its coffee shop roots

I've been to Stir on several occasions and ALWAYS find it very satisfying - to the friendly staff, to my favorite chicken salad croissant sandwich - it never has disappointed. Hardly mediocre, and the books are very real. Sad to read a review that is sub-standard at best, giving very little credence to the unique atmosphere and fun, friendly folks who work there.

Can we give a bad review to the review and a high five to Stir?

Re: “In the age of #MeToo, a good man is hard to find

Before we start falling too hard into the despondency of where the "good guys" are, let's perform a bit of a thought experiment. Replace every instance of the words "man", "guy", or "male" with "Muslim" and modify this to be a piece on Muslim acts of terror.

"The more good Muslim or peaceful the accused, the harder the blow. It really may be ALL Muslims. Are there any good Muslims out there?"

Now see how much you enjoy this logic of yours.

Re: “A cyclist's appeal to drivers

Thank you Greg for Taking the time to write a commentary on this subject. I was not aware there was such disdain and contempt from some of our fellow citizens regarding cycling in this town. Hopefully your well thought out and nicely articulated commentary will be taken to heart and enlighten us all to the benefits of supporting a cycling community

Re: “Springs Police consider reviving photo enforcement against red light runners

Simply do not contest it or send money. The camera will keep quiet and refuse to identify you as the driver. in fact the camera won't say anything. No witnesses or evidence (the camera was actually working correctly?) leaves only the hope you show up with the photo and then you will be intimidated into ponying up $75.
Imagine, someday a camera can send you to a private prison without a trial because there will be mandatory minimums but maybe you can make a deal and provide photos of other people appearing to be speeding or jaywalking. But to whom?
Curious to know the last time they had red light cameras how many captured on film the deadly collisions?
How many places are eliminating traffic signals completely and finding that collisions stopped and traffic flowed much more smoothly since people had to start watching out for their own asses for a change? If public safety is what they really want then try it. If it is cash they want then keep up the good work and the bad roads. And why is it when I travel the posted speed limit cars bunch up behind me? Doesn't make me feel too safe.

I just hope they plan on initially opening enough stores in the springs. Can you imagine the hell that would ensue if they initially opened only a single location?

Re: “Dobson endorses Roy Moore for Senate

Ugh! These evangelicals seem to have a hard time determining which politicians have moral integrity. Their leaders tell them to support the likes of Donald Trump and Roy Moore, and they just follow along like good little sheeple..... sigh! Such faithful Republicans, they seem to think if the candidate has an R behind his name that must make him a good Christian. You hardly need Faux News to manipulate this bunch!

Re: “Dobson endorses Roy Moore for Senate

I'm confused as to why this article is implying that Dobson recently endorsed Roy Moore...

Dobson's endorsement was in August and the audio clip attached to this article is from September... before any of the accusations against Roy Moore occurred ( Furthermore, it was a TV ad, not radio as the article states.

Finally, Focus on the Family isn't a church, unless the author was just trying to be snarky?

Re: “Reader: Red light cams don't address the underlying problem

Short cycling lights? Really? Haaaa!!

The underlying problem is that some people think they are better than others and deserve a privilidge to endanger lives by running lights.

Lets give them a reality check.

Fine them. Take their license away. Driving is a privilidge and we each owe the other the respect to be safe and cautious in our driving. In our attitude, in our lives.

For crying out loud....

Dave :-)

Dobson sold his soul to the political devil long ago. The man is a perfect representation of pseudo-Christianity and frankly doesn't deserve the press you guys give him.

Re: “Lifetime state parks pass for seniors

Just to balance... with a single visit to Rocky Mountain state park rising to $80, $175 (at least for Colorado) is a frocking giveaway. If you are in the old farts category I doubt that $175 is going to break your bank
