Re: “Tweeter-in-Chief goes off to war

I am very, very pleased that Twitter allows our president to communicate with the American people without the biased filter of the media. Those creepy people are now trusted less than used coffin salesmen, and every bit of that mistrust has been earned. God bless President Trump.

Re: “City to recognize Waldo Canyon Fire Commemoration Day on June 26

I'd much rather they announce that they have identified the true cause of the fire.

Re: “Jared Polis announces gubernatorial run amid the oranges

Just another out-of-touch Denver/Boulder socialite. If you want the Governor of this state to represent ONLY the Denver/Boulder corridor then vote for this guy, as he is a carbon copy of the current office holder.

Isn't it about time that Pueblo or Manitou Springs nominate someone who represents the Democrats who think the Governor should represent EVERYONE in this state?

Re: “Pikes Peak Summit House Project delayed pending fundraising

This and the children's museum both have my support!
Not the "tourist" attraction sports medicine center, an unneeded stadium, and an AFA visitor center funded by the city.

Re: “Olympic Museum construction is underway

Not at all - since a major funder is also the owner of a local paper. Gag.
At least this museum I can sort of get behind.

Us paying for an AFA visitor center is not something I've ever been in favor of. Neither is the stadium. And I've always considered it a far stretch to characterize the university's sports medicine center as a tourist attraction.

Re: “Local lawmakers split over Comey testimony

A good source to read/see the entirety of Comey's testimony is at the NY Times site. Here is the link:…

Re: “Suthers criticizes mayors opposed to Trump's decision on climate accord

But then again, our city is working to shut down our coal plant. Makes me wonder if he's just trying to appease his voter base while working towards the betterment of our city's clean air

Re: “Leave your stinkin' drone at home

With some common sense, we can all have both a degree of peace and extraordinary video/photos. sUASs are still in their infancy. And with some creative thinking, we can make it right for all sides of this discussion. Those folks that care for quiet like Bob. Those that don't mind (like Odin), and those (like me) who just want a stunning angle to see something so beautiful (without interrupting Bob's hiking peace). Regulations requiring licensing, quotas for use in national and state parks (like x scheduled drone flights at a designated location(s) between y and z times). These are the things we have to think about. Similarly the way the gentlemen mentions ATVs, we can grow into this new sUAS age in an equitable manner. First and foremost is requiring licensing (and suspension) for even non commercial. What say you?

"For highlights of Comey's testimony, go to this CNN site."

Seriously? You cannot trust anything that CNN produces nowadays. How about including a link to a non-partisan site?

Re: “Olympic Museum construction is underway

Does anyone really believe the reporting of financial information surrounding this building and completion of surrounding infrastructure items is going to be transparent?

Re: “Working from home? You'll need more than your pajamas.

Thanks Jim. Those were classic keyboards and made when everything was of quality and of course much more money I feel.

Wired is the way to go if your office space is near your internet connection. There's less to go wrong no doubt and often faster. I do think you can secure your wifi and if you are logging in remotely I would guess you have a VPN, right? That should keep you secure but I agree that if you can do it- hard wire your network. I hate drilling holes though I have. I'm not the handy type unfortunately. I paid my handy man when I wired my basement office to my main connection up 2 1/2 stories higher. A lot of cabling... Thanks for reading! Feel free to email me if you have anything you want to discuss.

Re: “No bones about it

As a dog owner and lover I found the article "No Bones About It" very one sided. People might think it's a great idea to bring your pets everywhere but I feel it is a very selfish way of thinking. In a restaurant environment, the last thing I want to see is a bunch of dogs, calmly laying down or not. Restaurants have a hard enough time keeping their establishments clean from adults and kids visiting and then you add dogs, big or small, to the picture and it could become very costly, not to mention a liability for the store owner/manager if one time a dog bites a patron. Lets consider people who have allergies, dog phobias and any other personal issues people may have with animals in general. People have an unwarranted notion that everyone loves their dog and are oblivious about personal boundaries. No matter how much I love my dogs I will not put my dogs before other people. Let's not lose our heads and truly consider our pets as other people.
